The Hydro Dipping Process
1. Film Activation
The industrial process begins with a specialized PVA water-soluble film containing the printed design, precisely placed on the surface of a temperature-controlled water tank. A chemical activator solution is sprayed over the film. This critical step dissolves the carrier layer, leaving the ink floating as a vivid, micro-thin liquid layer on the water’s surface, ready for transfer onto any large insulated water jug or compact cup.
2. Immersion & Bonding
The vessel is then mechanically dipped into the tank at a precisely calculated angle. The natural hydraulic pressure forces the floating ink to wrap perfectly around the object, adhering tightly to the base coat. This ensures that even the narrow neck of a wine stainless steel bottle receives absolute, consistent pattern coverage without distortion.
